| It was not only to celebrate CMCS Alumni Day, but to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Caledonia High
Schools graduating class, that 18 members of the 1949 class gathered together for
fun and recalling memorable school experiences.
After participating in the Saturday Alumni Day festivities, the class gathered at the home
of Bob and Maureen Skivington Reeves for a delicious buffet and evening of reliving our
school years and telling of many tales. The evening was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
On Sunday afternoon the class gathered for a
banquet at the Iroquois Hotel with 41 class members, spouses, guests and class advisors.
The tables were decorated with bouquets of fresh flowers with each person receiving a
bottle of champagne with a label recalling a memorable event.

introduced Mrs. Rita Davison and Mr. Richard Beech, class advisor. They both gave comments
of their memories of the class. After the meal was served a booklet with a picture and
biographies of each class member was given out. Also copies of the 1948-49 school paper,
The Elm, were given out. The afternoon concluded with many pictures and discussions of our
