Sunny fall day for Caledonia festival

A sunny and cool fall day brought hundreds of children to the fairgrounds in Caledonia for the annual fall festival sponsored by Caledonia Recreation. A costume parade featuring plenty of firemen, witches, monsters and even Spiderman himself kicked off the afternoon’s festivities.

Kids enjoyed laser tag, the bounce house, a very scary dungeon of doom, horse rides, wagon rides and lots of goodies to eat. A popular attraction that drew long lines was the dunking booth. Several local "celebrities" volunteered to sit on the bulls eye seat. A chilling experience to say the least.

The Livingston County Sheriffs Department mounted patrol received a lot of attention from the kids who love the horses.

The event is a big success thanks to the collaboration of many people in the Cal-Mum community who spend their time planning and volunteering at the event.
