Francis "Dunc" Torpey

    Francis "Dunc" Torpey of Caledonia died June 18. He was past chief and a 60-year-member of the Caledonia Fire Department.

    He is survived by his wife, Jeanette; daughter, Mary Ann; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Carol Torpey; son, Michael Torpey Sr.; grandchildren, Kelly Torpey, Michael Torpey Jr. and Lisa and Chris Oppelt; and great-grandchildren, Ryan and Rachael Oppelt.

    Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 W. Main St., Caledonia. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Columba Church, Caledonia. Dunc will be buried at St. Columba Cemetery.
