Kenneth Mason Kenneth Mason, age 93 years of Mumford died October 10, 2000 at Westgate Nursing Rome in Gates, NY after a long illness. Kenneth was born December 5, 1906 in Ilion, NY to William and Carrie (Maine) Mason. He worked for The Best Garage in Ilion NY for 50 years. Kenneth is predeceased by his wife; Bertha. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law: Patricia and Edward Barkley, Mumford, grandchildren; Deborah (Douglas) Horne, of VT, Stephen (Maryann) Barkley, of Gates, Lauren (James) Hunter, Mumford, and Timothy Barkley, Gates, great-grandchildren; Lisa and Rachael Horne, Carrie and Shawn Barkley Kayla, Nicholas and Stephanie Hunter. Nephew; Robert Mason. Friends attended his Memorial Service, Saturday, October 14, 2000, 2:00 PM, at the First Baptist Church in Mumford. The service was officiated by Reverend Thomas Vickers. A private internment is planned at Ilion Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, Steeple Fund, PO Box 279, Mumford, NY 14511.
