Board Member Election
RESOLVED, that the proposed budget of expenditures for the fiscal year 2009-2010 in the amount of $16,350,839, and for the purposes shown in the statement of estimated expenditures adopted by the Board of Education, be one and the same hereby is approved and the amount thereof shall be raised by a levy of a tax upon the taxable property of the school district.
RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of the Caledonia Mumford Central School District is hereby authorized to purchase one 66-passenger bus and to expend a sum not exceeding $95,000, the said sum will be raised by tax on the taxable property of the school district to be collected in annual installments and to issue obligations thereof in accordance with the Education Law and Local Finance Law.
The District has implemented an affordable bus replacement plan. The new bus will be ordered off state bid in order to meet the strict DOT regulations as well as getting the lowest possible price. State aid covers approximately 90% of the cost of a new school bus. Our replacement plan gives the District stability in planning out these purchases. The retired bus is either auctioned off or donated to the local fire departments.
Election of three members to the Board of Education of the Caledonia-Mumford Central School District, each for a three year term to succeed present incumbents: Randy Grattan, Arnie Rychlicki, and Susan Spencer. The candidates are as follows: Tim Anderson, Arnie Rychlicki and Bill VanAllen.
